Dr. Reno grew up downriver and has now cared for patients in her hometown area for over 20 years. She is proud to serve patients in the area that she has considered home her entire life.
Dr. Reno completed her undergraduate studies at Miami University (Ohio), graduating Cum Laude. She then returned home to attend medical school at Wayne State University, graduating With Distinction. She remained at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center to complete her Ophthalmology residency at the Kresge Eye Institute. Throughout her academic career, Dr. Reno authored and contributed to numerous research studies, many of which she presented at national Ophthalmology meetings. During her final year of residency, she served as the Chief Resident of Ophthalmology for WSU/DMC. Upon graduating from residency, she received the great honor of being awarded “The Lawrence Stocker Award for Compassionate Medicine”.
After graduating from residency, she joined her mother in practice at the Southland Eye Clinic in Taylor, MI. Since that time it has been her pleasure to provide eye care to the entire downriver community.
